【Course Introduction】

The new YCT is an international standardized test of Chinese proficiency. It tests the ability of primary and secondary school students who are not their first language to use Chinese in their daily life and learning. The test is divided into a written test and an oral test, and the two parts are independent of each other.

【Examination Content】

1. Hearing

1. A total of 5 questions. Listen to each question twice. Each question is a word, and a picture is provided on the test paper, and candidates judge right or wrong based on what they hear.

2. A total of 5 questions. Listen to each question twice. Each question is a phrase, and 3 pictures are provided on the test paper. Candidates choose the corresponding picture according to what they hear.

3. A total of 5 questions. Listen to each question twice. Each question is a sentence, and a picture is provided on the test paper, and candidates judge right or wrong based on what they hear.

4. A total of 5 questions. Listen to each question twice. Each question is a dialogue. There are 3 pictures on the test paper. Candidates choose the corresponding picture according to what they heard.

2. Reading

1. A total of 5 questions. Each question provides a picture and a word, and the test taker must judge whether it is consistent.

2. A total of 5 questions. Each question provides a sentence, and there are several pictures on the test paper. Candidates choose the corresponding picture according to the content of the sentence.

3. A total of 5 questions. Each question provides a picture and an incomplete dialogue. There are 6 options on the test paper, and candidates are required to choose the answer. The questions on the test paper are all in pinyin.

【Course Effect】

(1) YCT-1

Master about 80 commonly used vocabulary and related grammar knowledge, be able to understand and use the most commonly used Chinese words and sentences, and have the ability to further learn Chinese.

(2) YCT-2

Master about 150 common vocabulary and related grammar knowledge, and be able to understand and use the most commonly used Chinese words and sentences to meet specific communication needs.

(3) YCT-3

Master about 300 commonly used vocabulary and related grammar knowledge, and can communicate in Chinese simple and direct on familiar daily topics.

(4) YCT-4

Master about 600 common vocabulary and related grammar knowledge, can use Chinese to complete the basic communication tasks in life and study, and can deal with most of the communication tasks encountered when traveling in China.
